I am waiting for the delivery of my non-prodrive STI, told end of May, does anyone know any diffrent. What version of Tracker do you get with the car ?

 

It's the RAC Trackstar that is fitted as standard.

There was a discussion somewhere about should a car fitted with a tracker have a sticker or something warning would be thieves to leave it alone. Most people seemed to think this was a bad idea. However, if some cars come with them fitted as standard, doesn't that do the same thing? Surely the crim that is knowledgeable enough to by-pass immobilisers et al, is also likely to have read Auto Express or whatever & knows which they are.

A factory fitted tracker might be a good selling point, but is it really self-defeating?
