Doesn't void the cat 1 (sigma confirmed) as it only uses outputs and you can set it up to only go up when hold the buttom down.

It isn't worth the money .. but if you do go for a good fitter.

Rob,
You can get a 'total closure' upgrade for the Sigma but it voids the Thatcham class 1 classification that you currently have. As soon as you do this and inform you insurance agent your premium will go through the roof or they may not insure you at all
To be honest for what it gives you it's not worth the price hike.
