Doesn't void the cat 1 (sigma confirmed) as it only uses outputs and you can set it up to only go up when hold the buttom down.

But see this other thread http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...ThreadID=81491

It isn't worth the money .. but if you do go for a good fitter.

Question

Hi,

Can my standard Sigma alarm be upgraded so that it closes the windows when I alarm. If so how much will it cost?

Cheers.

Unhappy

Rob,

You can get a 'total closure' upgrade for the Sigma but it voids the Thatcham class 1 classification that you currently have. As soon as you do this and inform you insurance agent your premium will go through the roof or they may not insure you at all

To be honest for what it gives you it's not worth the price hike.
