Hi
I have a uk my98 turbo and it has a serpi star gr 480 alarm
It works and used to beep when armed/dis-armed but now it doesnt beep.
In manual it says can only be altered by installer but if I have accidently turned the beeps off is there a way I can turn them back on.
Any help would be much appreciated

 

the only way you would have turned them off is if you have tried to activaed silent arm/disarm, do you have the book with the alarm...........

but on the other hand, do es the alarm sound when triggered, the siren might have gone as i believe that alarm is a compact unit with seperate immob unit inside the car,

 

its my brothers alarm, ill reply on behalf of my brother.
The alarm does sound when triggered so the siren does work just not when armed and disarmed.
He has got the manual but doesnt actually say how you can activate sounds, it just says can be only altered by installer

 

it's a programming thing then, the procedure is long winded, he needs to have a pin code i'll try to get a table of contents of the options but those alarms i was fitting some 10 years ago now
