Hi all,

I'm sure i've read this somewhere before, but i've just found the bracket which holds the alarm in the engine bay cracked and the alarm hanging by its wiring!

My car is a UK spec MY00.

Is the only remedy to replace the bracket? (are these easily available from main dealers?), or is there a modification that can be carried out to stop it happening again?

Nick,

IIRC, they fit a bigger bracket (well they did to mine) which should fix it, and dealers should know what to do. Ask - it should be a warranty repair!
