Default Remote central locking problems

I have an 2003 which was recently stolen and recover, much to my annoyance and relief.

So the first thing i went to do is replace the locks, I took the car to Jem in north London which replaced all the locks for me but now the remote locking doesn't work, the key access is fine.

Jem subsequently told me that it was due to the fact my car is an Euro import (from the Netherlands), but surely central locking is just central locking.

If any one could help me on this I would be most grateful.

And it's first post! YAY!

Look to near your right knee when sitting in the drivers seat.
Is there a little cubby hole/draw with a numbered keypad in it?

There's no key pad, only a fuse box.

Just a note that even though this is a euro import it's still RHD

Thanks
