I had this on my old car installed in the main fuel pump electrical supply. The unit was hardly noticable inside the car but it bacame a pain if you forgot to replace it. I once pulled out onto a main road to be greeted with a bunny hop and dead car. Nearly shat myself with approaching traffic, install a buzzer to remind you if you do.
Good anti theft device though

I belive there are two types the normal isolator switch and also one that has a terminal on that stays live even when the isolator is used, It won't deal with a lot of power eg starter but it can be used for an alarm. Try Larkspeed or Deamon tweeks ;D

Ive been toying with the Idea of fitting a battery master and Fuel pump cut out switch/es to my car, ala rally/race car style (you know, the big red key type that sit at the bottom of your windscreen/bonnet) partly as a safety feature for trackdays, partly as a security measure(remove keys when cars not in use), and a bit of cosmetic effect ...can anyone forsee any problems, and has anyone done this before?

Alpine,
I did think about that, my alarm does have battery back up - but not sure how long it 'backs' up for (probably about 30s ) I also need to check that the Tracker is backed up one way or another
Scooby -doo,
Was your switch outside or Inside? I was thinking of putting them outside so If I do have a roll then the pump can be cut from the outside, and also that way the switch itself is on the other side of the bulk head thus confusing theiving scumbags even more

the best thing to do is to cut the fual wire after the immobiliser cut of the alarm, this will not cause any problemswith the alarms wiring. maybe you could cut the fual inercia switch wiring and putthe switch in the glove box.
