.. occasionally get triggered by high winds ..
Twice yesterday my car (MY00) alarm was triggered by the wind 'moving' the car whilst it was parked in my driveway .. is this normal ?
Also since the alarm was tripped does this mean that once it goes off it will keep going off until such time as I disactivate it with the key fob?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Doofus.

take it to your local Sigma dealer and they can plug a reader onto your led and read the diagnostics as to what the last alarm triggers were, they can also then adjust the sonics if required.

If it's a belgian import, you won't have an alarm if you went direct to the garage. If you bought it from a uk trader, most of them add an alarm but charge you for it.
Are you using the IR plipper or do you have an alarm fob? Alarm fob = alarm, plipper = no alarm.
If you haven't got an alarm, check your insurance CAREFULLY!!!!! I don't wish to be a messenger of doom, but if your insurers asked you "is it UK spec" and you said "yes", they may have assumed that it has a Sigma M30 fitted and your theft cover may be invalidated if you do not have a thatcham cat 1 device fitted and enabled at the time of theft.
I'm not trying to panic you, but check it ASAP. Personally I'd phone them too and make sure they're aware that there's no alarm on your car. Well, no, actually I'd fit the best alarm that I could afford - which is what I did with my import
HTH,
Nick.
PS - if you do have an alarm fob, you can normally trigger it by holding down the "set" button for five seconds or more.
