Default Moving Blackjax siren

I have an MY02 WRX and got an STI7 intercooler for it, came to fit it and DOH! the blackjax siren is in its way, the only thing I can do is move the siren to the other side of the bulkhead but the problem is that the wire isnt long enough to do this (I have traced it all the way and I only have around 10cm of slack).
Does anyone know if I can just snip the 2 wires and add the length I need, which I think will send the blackjax off on one so I dont really want to do this unless I know first its ok, its just annoying having to pay someone to do something so simple.

Cheers,

Ayde.

From memory the Blackjax doesn't have a battery backup/voltage drop system. I would just snip the wires, move and add the length.

Cheers, I will disconnect the battery and give it a go when I pluck up enough courage.
