Default stop lock pro

Stoplock Pro Steering Lock from Halfords Price £44.99

i just had my 2005 wrx turbo and scared its going to get nicked due to it been parked at a college all day, has anyone fitted the above to a 2005 impreza wrx?

is there anything better/smaller that does a good job?

does this fit the steering wheel easy?

anyone got any pictures of one fitted?

Are they really that bad? i bought mine years ago cause it was thatcham approved and thought that would mean its better than the usual rubbish steering locks.

i just want one as an extra deterrent . i know in less than a minute you can just cut the steering wheel apart in a couple of places.

One of the car magazines did a test a few years back on all the different types of "popular" steering/gearbox/pedal locks, it was a "non damaging", ie not hit to death with a sledge hammer type affair, the stop lock pro didnt last very long, the winner was of course, the disc lock for the steering wheels, and that one that locks your gearbox also came out on top, but the disc lock got it because it was more vfm
