It say DIY on most alarm / immobilisers..
how easy the DIY is?? any novice managed to make one work??

and that button.. i was in an RX8 once and the guy had a button under his seat, which he reckons should be pressed within 15-or so seconds after driving off, or the engine switches off...
whats that?? and any1 fitted it?? how easy???

The one thing I always say to people who ask this question is...... "are you prepared to take the chance, knowing that putting one wrong wire in the wrong place could result in hundreds of pounds worth of damage to your cars electrical system?"

If you have little or no knowledge of electrical systems or how they work, you shouldn't attempt it on your own.
