I have had this alarm fitted for quite some time (2 years) and I am still learning things about it, but the siren is just a plan old werrrwooo werrrwooo werrrwooo etc rather then this type of thing YouTube - CLIFFORD?AG5 with????C

if you change it you will lose the thatcham approval of the alarm.... but there is nothing stopping you from adding a second siren that would go off when the alarm is triggered.

If you have a socket in your car for the Clifford cable and the software (Cliffnet Wizard I think) on a laptop you can program the sound of the siren. I think there are about 8 horrible noises to choose from. You can 'play' one for 5 seconds and then another so you can learn what noise yours makes and be pretty sure it's your alarm sounding. So far as I was told the alarm has to sound for 30 seconds and then stop to be approved for Cat 1, I didn't know that you had to stick with the standard 'ringtone'.

The above applies to a high spec G4, I presume the G5s have the same facility.

Try under the drivers seat under the carpet, common place TBH or above pedals (not so coomon).

There should be a 3 core lead with a black 3 pin din sized plug. Any probs give me a shout and i shall take a pic of my plug for your reference.

ANother clear sign of what you got on your car would be your clifford stickers on your windows. Do they say G4 clifford or G5 Clifford? If i don;t answer just PM me.
