Can anyone tell me whether it's OK to steam clean my engine? I know that I will have to cover up the Clifford Siren, is there anything else that I should be aware of?

Jap engines are usually pretty well sealed, but be carefull not to blast directly at electrical components especially non scooby bits like alarms and cruise control box, if in doubt cover them up.

Also don't directly blast the sound deadening felt under the bonnet or you will end up with stripes on it.

You should have no problems if you are careful.
