Default Insurance companies and Blakjacks?

Just spoke to my insurance company to inform them firstly that my car does not have a tracker. Its an 03sti i and i was under the impression that they all came pre fitted with trackers

secondly i informed them that the car had a clifford cat 1 alarm with a black jacks anti hijack system, there response to this was that this alarm was not recognised on there system Has anyone else had this problem?. The way i see it these alarms should reduce the premium as much as a tracker.

rant over on a plus side becuase there is no tracker they bumped up the premium, but it is still less than the tracker annual subscription
