In need of rapid advice;
Car is sat at the in-laws - immobilised.
I unlocked the car with the remote, loaded some bits and bobs in the boot.. came to start it, and the alarm wouldn't register that I was pressing the fob to turn the immobiliser off. I have changed the batteries. Still no joy. They red LED on the remote is working.
I have checked all the fuses. All are fine, the only reaction I am getting is a chirp on the alarm when putting the 15A fuse back in, which from memory feeds the interior lamps and clock etc.
The central locking is working fine with the key.
My main problem is that I do not have the Pin Number for the alarm. The LED on the keypad is working, so I am assuming that the alarm is still ok at this stage. However, I can't reset the alarm without the PIN or the remote, and at the moment, I have neither!
I know there is a sequence of keys that can be pressed in order to reset the PIN, but I REALLY need to know what these are.
I will call Subaru in the morning to see if they ahve a record of the PIN, but I think I will also need the serial number for the alarm - which guess what - I don't have.
I am missing the Security booklet from my manual pack.
I think I have located the Alarm - A small metal casing behind the glovebox. However, I have no idea what to do with it. The wiring, from what I can see is fine.
Any advice would be very welcome. I am aware I should probably be speaking to Sigma Sam about this, so will send him a copy too..
PLEASE HELP...

It can be done if the remote is working and you don't know the PIN.. (will post details if required by anyone)..
Apparently there is another way too.. but still working on it at the moment !

They said he was effectively marketing Sigma products. Except, all he did was help loads of people with problems with Sigma products who already owned them and so didn't need to buy them, and given the amount of problems no-one in their right mind would buy them by choice anyway. The fact is that people acquire them as OE equipment when they buy their cars and I very much doubt his input resulted in any/many sales of new items. Top guy and missed by many.
