My advice would be to fit the best you can afford and also get it professionally fitted. After all, you are trying to stop car thieves stealing your pride and joy.
I had fitted a Clifford Concept 650 mk1 for £350 fitted and this is quite a respected alarm imho.

Depends what you consider cheap....
Hornet Maxx1 is the cheapest on the market but by no means the worst.. Almost identical to the slightly more expensive Ai606. Next up is the Viper 480xv then you move onto something like a Clifford Concept 650.
prices start at £175 for the hornet £200 for the toad £250 for the viper 325 for the clifford.
prices are approx and depend on where you are in the country.

Agree with Jesus H clifford all the way. You can add blackjax anti-hijack, turbo timer of the Clifford 650 MKII or if you go for the AvantGuard 5.5 you can also have remote start.
