Default Clifford concept 50x Fob not working

My alarm fob has decided to pack in, and now I cant get the car started. The alarm is disarmed, as I didnt arm it. Anyone have any ideas?? I notice theres a valet mode, but how do I get into valet mode?

turn to key fully on ( as if u are starting the engine), then enter the valet code using to 'plain view' switch. as for the fob - i had a problem with mine where the metal bracket/clip that holds the battery in place had come away from the printed circuit - just resoldered it (migh be worth a try!)

Just an update, and another question.. I managed to get the fob working after pressing furiously, and it kicked back into life. Took the car for a spin, stopped off and all was well. As soon as I got home, problem presented itself again. Would a mobile phone mast be the likely culprit? Only seems to happen when parked on the drive.

mobile phones definitely a problem for mine !! and it is getting worse...
mine has started doing this on my drive recently - suspect someone has just had a new 'wireless' computer installation ?? --- i am now having to use the 'valet' buttons to get her started (but usually only in the evening!)
