Just call them and transfer the tracker on your name and then you just have to pay for the subscription and thwey will send you the paperwork.

I bought an 06 STi and wanted to have the tracker as a piece of mind more than the insurance reduction.

The car is fitted from new with the RAC Trackstar- the previous owner had not signed up to it. I called Trackstar who did a test on the tracker there and then to see if it was still connected (it was- she even told me it was not in a garage and had just been driven- talk about Big Brother!)

I just paid £132 by direct debit and that was that- you can even check it is working six times a year if you are worried that it has packed up!
