Any ideas how i get the pin number for my alarm. All i want to do is turn autolock on! Ive found the alarm module but cant find a serial number on the casing? I wanted to buy a new fob as well but presume i cant program it with no pin number
Thanks in advance

When you got the alarm fitted it should have come with a credit card sized piece of paper called the quick reference card. Onthe back it will have a four digit pin number.

If it's any consolation, I think the auto-lock function is rubbish. I had it on my old alarm and if you start the car while you doing something else (like standing outside the car, with bonnet up, start it) and the door shuts, you're locked out. Good job on the couple of occasions it happened to me I was at home so could pop in and get the spare key.

Autolock is a superb feature Toad system will know door or bonnet is open and will not lock
Either you had an inferior alarm or a badly fitted one

or possibly the door pin switch on the car was faulty. (common occurrence on scooby's)

Sorry, but your judgemental statement about either inferior or badly fitted is completely unfounded and wrong.
It is a preference that I have. I am entitled to my opinion the same way you are entitled to yours. I think the Toad system is the best one out there (and I have tried a lot!), but I just don't like autolock.
I had autolock on my old Clifford alarm and have been locked out a couple of times so I had it dis-armed when the Toad replaced the old system.
Thanks

2 - The LED will then flash for 3 seconds.
3 - After 3 seconds, the LED will flash at a rate of 1 flash per second.
4 - Count the flashes and turn the ignition off after the number of flashes equal to the first digit of the PIN code. For a 0, turn off immediately after the flashing or green LED.
5 - Turn the ignition back on and the green LED will turn for one second. then count the number of flashes equal to the second PIN code.
6 - Repeat for third and fourth digists.
7 - If PIN is entered correctly, the system will disarm when the ignition is switched off
If you get it wrong, the PIN will lock for three minutes before you can try again.
Never tried it myself! Good luck!

There you go you answered the question about inferior alarms
Cliffords will lock you out regardless of where the key is
That is why Toad is the thinking alarm
fitted hundreds of these and never a lock out

Cliffords now lock relative to rpm speed of 2 times idle.. 3000-3400....
In fact they have done for quite a few years now... This means they are less likely to lock your keys in.... even less likely than a TOAD
