Default Alarm won't do has it's told

I have a 07 sti with a cobra alarm, ive just tried to use the key fob to disarm but it did not work. looked in the alarm manual, it says could be flat battery so i used the other (new) key fob. still did not work, so i also tried resyncronising the key fob, this still never worked. finally tried to disarm the alarm by typing in the pin code, this still does not work.
i would be grateful of any ideas.

try disconnecting the cars battery for a min or so. it could be that the alarm has spiked and thats what is stopping the system from letting you re-sync. TBH its a long shot but its worth a try.......

Cobra....... typical Italian engineering I'm afraid.

is the led in the car still flashing? i.e. giving signs that the alarm is actually still getting power? It may be that it's blown a fuse..

Your car battery voltage has dropped too low.
My 05 used to do this all the time due to the Tracker taking 6hrs before going into standby mode. Call the subaru assistance people, get them to come and sort the battery. Then call the Tracker folks and tell them you would like the 6hr standby board changed for a 1hr board (this solved all my battery woes). They will do this replacement for free if the car is less than 12months old.
