Does the alarm brand really matter if so which one?
hi proably have to get an alarm cat1 for insurance and also a tracker.
ive seen trackers on ebay for £30. maybe there crap. but what one you suggest. im not wanting to spend the earth maybe £200 for both.

Its not so much the tracker you have to worry about.. its the fitting certificate. If i didn;t need the certs I would have fitted it all myself as im a techy.. Instead i had to pay some garage to fit it.. And they did a rubbish job
I've had toad alarms, Clifford, Cobra, and so on.
For reliability, function and easy of use I recommend Clifford each and everytime.
When I get a car without an alarm fitted, I alway fit a Clifford. Got one now on both car and motorbike.

Brand of trackers doesn't matter but the approval does. some are Cat Q and some are Cat 5. The £30 ones from ebay aren't recognised by the insurance companies. Have a look at Smartrack, they are cheap, transferable and the company are really good to deal with.
And the toad was fitted to me and touch wood cars still there
