Had the same problem here with Clifford alarm without the intellistart. No alarm went off as my son was still here at home. I bought a battery conditioner which I now leave connected if I'm away for more than a few days. It keeps battery topped up to full charge and will NOT overcharge or damage it. No more problems and your car is properly alarmed still.

Andy.

at this time of year, a cars battery is rarely at full capacity. It may be worth checking your battery condition if it's more that 3 years old. It may well be on it's way out.

You can set your remote start up so that it will monitor the battery voltage and start the car should it start to drop too low.
