smartrack???
hi all..... looking at all the threads about trackers on here alot of people have not got a good word to say about them,i know its abit late now but i've had the smartrack protector + it was £299 and £120 for a years subsciption..i needed a tracker fitted because privilege insurance said i needed one fitted.......what i would like to know is what do you guys think about them???? and be 100% i can take it lol....many thanks,,,,,gary

I may be a little biased here as I do fit them, although along with the usual like Trackstar. For the money they are excellent, based on a existing tracking unit with a proven history that it works well. You dont get things like safe speed or RAC recovery but as a tracker to keep your insurance company sweet, and that should get your car back at that price who can argue.

Being honest as a copper I would recomend a tracker...
Majority of cars that are stolen are parked up somewhere with no damage so the criminal waits to see if a tracker is fitted.
If a tracker is fitted we can pick up the signal and recover it.
Highly recommended

i keep reading alot on here about (how do i know my tracker is working?) does anyone know if i can ring smartrack 3 times a year to find out if its still working??? i'm thinking of driving out somewhere far and giving them a call on my mobile to see if they can tell me where my car is
