Default Clifford 600 - Red light flashes faster?

Changed the battery in the horn as its supposed to bring back the beeps.

Did exactly as described and now the beeps still don't work. I can't get it to beep at all even by disconnecting the car battery and the red light flashes much faster than it did before.

I'm assuming this faster flashing means the alarm is proper f**ked now?

If I let it arm itself its normal every second or so flash. If I arm it with the fob it flashes 2 or 3 a second.

did you disconnect the siren at the alarm brain when you installed the new battery?

If not then you may have blown something. Check to see if there is an inline fuse on the siren harness

FFS. Thats more than likely.

The instructions didn't mention the removal of the siren. Just to take it apart and solder the new batt on.

I'll look for a fuse but doubt its there. The install is bloody awful. Wires everywhere and it looks a right cowboy job.

Thanks I'll check it. Thing is, it does beep if the door is left open and if armed and I open the door it will go off. I'll check the fuse anyway.
