Clear Glass flim?

yo, I read ages ago, that there woz a comp who'd put this "clear glass flim" on the insides of ya windows, to prevent ***** smashin the windows and gettin.
Anyone who had this done? or know where i can get it done proper?

I don't think it would matter if the window if frameless or not. (I could be wrong).
Its just that I had all my ICE nicked in my last motor (Astra GSi 16v), by them smashing the passenger window and mashin the locks up proper.
don't want to go through that again..

with window film the glass is held together if smashed. it is designed so you can push it out from inside if you have an accident, but cannot be pushed from the outside as it is held together with the door frame holding the lot in place. if you have no frame like on the scoobies then when the glass is shattered the theif can get a finger to the back of the glass from the glass edge and peel it out

You can peel the window out and get access that way.
I have seen a car that has been attacked with a crowbar to get past deadlocks in order to nick the ICE. Not nice at all. The harder you make it, the more damage they'll do if they want it.
