Default security connector

Ive got an immobiliser system on me car, but I would like to add to it
the manual states theres a 'security' connector under the dash - 6 way colourless connector.
Ive looked under there and theres a mass of wiring but I cant fid that conenctor

anyone any ideas where it may be? (connector B59 I think)

(95 WRX)

I'm not familiar with the 95 model or the purpose of this connector, but I doubt that finding it will be of much help to you anyway.

The standard factory transponder immobiliser on the '95 wrx (UK or import) does not conform to the Thatcham requiremnts for immobilisers - the fact that this connector is refered to in the manual raises questions to it's "security" function.
This is why most insurance companies insist on a full Cat1 Alarm/Immobiliser (with 2 independent passively arming immobilisation circuits) on all imports and UK cars prior to '99 (when a Sigma M30 became standard UK fit).

What type of immobiliser do you have at the moment - just the factory transponder or an additional aftermarket Cat 2 Immobiliser?
If just the standard factory transponder, then I'd suggest a Cat 2 Immobiliser as a minimum, but preferably a full Cat 1 Alarm/Immobiliser.
If you already have a Thatcham certified Cat 2 immobiliser, then a Cat 2-1 Alarm Upgrade would be the most cost effective route.

Ive got a Cat 1/2 alarm/immobiliser fitted (the car had neither when I got it!)

I wanted another immobiliser circuit as a belt and braces job

the security connector has a loop connecting two pins...break the loop = immobilised...apparently
