Default Airport parking

Been reading the threads and realise it may not be to brighter idea.

For work I need to park regulary at different airports.

East mids sound the worst so can get a taxi there. Although it will be left on its own on the drive.

Birmingham multi parking 3 seems quite high tech at the entrance now camera for driver and reg

Standsted the same cameras for the driver and reg

Will they still try and steal an 04 plate with cat 1 alarm and tracker (not that they are any use but necesery for insurance). What about steering disk will they still try?

Had no probs in the past but suppose a y reg mondeo is not so desirable

Cheers

My experience is of NCP long stay 1 at birmingham airport. Had my 04 type 20 nicked from there with RAC tracker and cat 1 alarm and immob, about 2 months ago, so would not advise to park there under any circumstances. I did hear at the airport police station when reporting the theft, that the mulit-storey car park has a better record. But having said that i will never take my car to a airport car park again. I now have a disclock on my new scooby, but having said that it could still be removed if they really want it. I just hope it is enough for them to look for something easier. If you have to park your car there on a regular basis pay the extra and park at the more secure carpark and use disclock.

Maybe the best idea is to buy a cheap run around for when you do the airport stayover plus it will come in handy for the supermarket runs etc.
