Question Sigma S32 system

Hi - I have a Sigma S32 Security System fitted to my car (including the keypad). does anyone know how I can activate the 'key theft protection'? In the rather brief manaul it makes sevarl references to this as a programmable option but does not say how to activate it. Is this something that I can do via my keypad or do i have to take it back to the dealer? Sorry if this information is in the manual somewhere but I have looked through sevarl times and been unable to spot it. Thanks for any help. best - Simon

The keytheft protection feature can be turned on using the keypad, but only if the optional immobilisation circuit has been connected by your installer.
It is intended that the installing dealer should enquire as to whether you require this feature before the installation, connect the circuit if necessary and then program the system accordingly before you receive the vehicle.
The manaual makes no mention to activating the feature as it will not function if the optional immobilisation circuit has not been made.
Additionally the programming method is not detailed in the operating instructions, as activating the Key Theft Protection feature, if your PIN is not know to you, would render the vehicle immobile.

If you have your PIN and have tried it, to ensure it is correct (ie arms and disarms the system) then PM me and I'll advise you of the programming sequence to activate the Key Theft Protection feature in order to see if the immobilisation circuit is connected. I do not want to post the sequence on the forum incase someone activates this feature befor checking they have the correct PIN!

I doubt he will answer your replies, its an old thread and the guy who said he has a manual posted 3 times (since jan 2010).
I would use this tool called "google", its revolutionary and you can find virtually anything you want with it

Default HELP Sigma S32

Hi,
I have a 2010 STI Spec R - and have had the dealer fiddle around with the keypad (activating antihijack mode i think? the one to just make it usable with a pin every time you start the car)
doe anyone else have the actual codes for the Sigma S32 alarm? i have found ones for an M30 and i think the S12 - one or two of them 'work' like they beep etc when you type the codes in, but i cant seem to find any anywhere for the S32.. is there a reason for this?

Subaru are useless in Australia, they have no idea what they are talking about. they didnt even tell me about the keypad when i bought it from them (New!) and they still cant tell me how to use the DCCD diff settings... F*ing useless ******

Hi Ian!
I want to know the codes for the s32. How to turn the features on and off - anti hijacking, auto arm and lock, and if there are others that put the windows up etc? I know there are codes for this but cant find them anywhere - except for the M30 which is for older model Subaru's i understand? I know they start with *17856... thats it.

Subaru Australia originally told me about the extra 'hidden' features but neglect to tell me the codes, or even activate them for me - which I dont understand why?

Also, have contacted scorpion automotive who are no help and wont let me know why they wont give the codes out either. Also Sigma Australia (which may also be scorpion auto combined company?)

Going around in circles! Hopefully you can help?

Hi mate

The alarm will only close windows if a window module is fitted and i dont think it will be as it would close the windows automatically

time the system is armed, to operate Total Closure (Total Closure Time *121 must
be adjusted from 0 to select the output period if required).
When held on arming, TX button 1 still operates Panic.
*1 = “Hold Down”. A negative output is provided on Acc. Wire 3 only whilst TX
button 1 remains held on arming after 3 seconds, up to a maximum of 26seconds
(Total Close Time *121 will not affect the output time)

vehicle already has a total closure circuit that can be operated from the standard
CDL lock connections. When switched on, the Std CDL Lock pulse is extended

remains pressed, up to a maximum of 26seconds.

Hi Ian,

Would you be able to space that out - I cant figure out where one sequence starts and ends?

also - is there one code that defaults everything back to factory? I have used the M30 codes, and whilst one or two of them have worked, i have seemed to turn on something (even though it doesn't seem anything has been activated) and i cant remember which one it was for me to reverse - i.e put a *0 at the end to turn it off.

If i had the reset/default for everything i could start again and be sure that only the features I want, are on.

Thanks!

Ok I figured it out - Turns out, I thought you had to turn the ACC. on and then put the code in i.e *17856... but everytime you press a button it flashes.

Solution:
Key in ignition, DONT TURN IT ON, and just put the code in.

Back to square one:
Ian is there anywhere with a COMPLETE list of codes?

If not, specifically I'm after, Auto-Arm and Auto-Arm with Locking. Also, Keytheft Protect above ^ does not seem to work for the S32. Isnt this an M30 or S30 code?

thanks
