Does anyone know what the alarm unit is known as which makes a deep sound as you walk past of towards it and who supplies them.

Thanx for the reply, I have currently got a clifford installed. Does anyone know where I could possibly pick one of these up from and where to get it fitted at.

Thanx very much

I dont know if you can add them onto your alarm mate. Your best mailing Clifford or Gap direct and enquiring unless anyone else has done it on here

concept 400 has a dual zone prox as standard, so assuming its still fitted then get the sensitivity adjusted and it should work

In that case yes you still can. The C300 has two sensor inputs, one is used for the standard single zone prox. the other is spare but does have inner and outer trigger zones. So you can get a DEI 508D dual zone prox fitted in place of the current one, but using the other sensor input and that will sort it.

Chances are any Clifford dealer (who you should be going to for work on a Clifford) will have/be able to get for you. As for where, your profile dont say where you are so flick through yellow pages for your local clifford dealer,

No, the digital prox has a digital link for the sensitivity adjustment which allows adjusting it by the alarm remote. pretty sure the only one currently made by Clifford/DEI that will work is the 508D. But you dont need to use a Clifford one. Found these on ebay that would work, Toad I have never used but should be ok, the other one looks cheap and not that great. your choice.

the only down side with this is when it belts it down with rain - the car thinks some one is walking round it suddenly "uuuurrrrrrrr) - (does not help when you go on holiday and forget to disable it) he he he

I can recommend a good installer in the North West called Stuart Barnard he would be able to solve all your issues.

He'll advise on any Clifford issues.

He will guide you through fitting issues aswell, e-mail him he's very helpful.
