Concept 600 Problem

Concept 600 Problem
Came to reset the blackjax to ON and the siren arm/disarm chirps suddenly go quiet. I have been into the menu system and set the chirps to loud, doing this while on the phone to a specialist, but no joy.
The specialist claims that the backup battery in the siren is dead hence no chirps. I find that hard to believe, given that the chirps went off only while I was trying to reset the blackjax. The specialist claims the whole siren unit will need to be replaced! Problem is my laptop is playing up so I cannot interrigate the system using Clifford's software.
Anyone any ideas on this? I am convinced that I have set something within the system by accident that has stopped the arm/disarm chirps from sounding even when they are set to ON. The system works perfectly otherwise.
Thanks for your inputs.

Sounds like you may have turned the 'silent night' feature on. It is not listed in the programing as the hardware is not there for it, but the software is on board. Cannot remember though what column etc it is to turn it off, check with Clifford direct or see if your dealer knows. This feature silent arms/disarms at night, but beeps during daylight, as there is no sensor getting light it thinks its dark and goes into silent.

WannaB4,
Took it into the dealer yesterday and yes, you were spot on with your diagnosis! They still can't say why the rest of the system now functions exactly like the model higher up though .
The whole thing now needs to go back to Clifford for reprogramming . Just waiting for a loan system to find its way to my dealer's before we commence that operation.
Most odd really; in the 3 years I have had the system it's not had a single fault, then I get a major reprogramming one blow up in my face.
