Wiring central locking to alarm system.
OK for all those wishing to work there central locking with there aftermarket alarm system then Ive the answers.
FIRST DISCONNECT BATTERY BEFORE COMMENCING ANY ELECTRICAL WORK.
1.Find the CL control box, its behind the drivers kick panel under the dash, there are two screws in the panel and a couple of clips that can be a sod to release.
2. The CL control box in to the right hand side above the fuse box, its held on with 2 nuts, remove the nuts a carefully drop down the box.
3. Locate the WHITE/SILVER dotted cable, this is the trigger cable to the CL.
4. You will need to CUT this cable, when cut it LOCKS the car, put a negative pulse on this cables and it unlocks the car.
5.Make up a circuit below.
I used a 1N4001 Diode, which did the trick.
Also you will need a fused link between the relay and the +12v feed, I put a 0.5amp fuse in mine.
The +12v constant supply can be picked up from the WHITE/BLACK Striped cable also going to the CL box.
6. Wire up to your alarm, following the diagram above and the instructions with you alarm system.
7. Check ALL wiring and functions of the central locking and alarm system then hey presto ,you've cracked it. Also no more annoying unresponsive OEM infra-red key fob.
