Default another ai606 question

does the window closure side have a thermal cutout in it so it doesn't over load the motor when the windows get to the top?

In short the AI606 doesn't have a thermal trip built into the window close circuit of the alarm. The the built-in output was designed to operate the windows on a vehicle that are already equiped with a thermal trip in the motors.

If the vehicle's windows aren't equipped with a thermal trip, then a "PWC402" window closer unit should be used - this unit has a thermal trip built in and is switched by the alarm system in the same way.

If it's one of the latest AI606s then you have the option of a "Timed" output (on the white wire), or a continued output on the CDL lock wire "Whilst the Remote Button is Held". If using the "Timed" output, this can be set to activate everytime the system is armed, or only once button 4 is pressed.

If the AI606 is older than 6 months, then only the Timed output is available.

Hope that helps.
