Don't know what the situation is like now, but when I was looking a couple of years ago, the Retrieve was not accepted by a some companies I tried (e.g. Privilege, Direct Line etc..) The Monitor was OK though.

I too have to get a tracker for my insurance, and have gone for the monitor on my experience and advice from a friend ( Austen_wrx ) It is worth the extra cash for the monitor.

We went over to the Nurburgring last summer and the scoob was below deck on the ferry and as we came into France and the water got a bit choppy Austen got a phone call from Tracker saying they had noticed the car moving and that it was out of the country.

He also got a phone call as the car was going up on the ramp as it was about to have it springs done !!

I rate that as a first class service IMO

The monitor is going to cost me £350 plus subscription from Motorguard in Birmingham ( A £100 discount for being from Scoobynet )

Mark.
