Hi,

My Impreza has a Clifford Concept 300 with intellistart installed in it. It has been fine upto now but today has been really odd. I went to the garage this morning and went to unlock it, but nothing - not a cheap, no door unlock, nothing. The alarm LED was flashing as normal tho.

So, I manually unlocked the door, key to ignition position and press the unlock button and everything is fine, with the right number of chirps and the doors locking/unlocking fine from the fob again.

However, now the alarm is going off intermittently for, say, 30 seconds at a time with no apparent pattern between it going off. I've made sure the bonnet, boot and doors are closed but it is still doing it. Has anyone got any ideas? The LED is flashing as normal.

Hmm i take it nobody had any suggestions... Mine just started going of randomly too. I mean not every day but just randomly for no aparnt reason. AND i cant even switch it off..

i click padlock i get nothing, i get frustraited and press alsorts and still get no responce... untill it shuts up and i can carry as normal

ive had this before. changed the battery in the fob and its ok now apart from today... got out the car from work went to lock it concept 300 remote and it made a diffirent beeb, locked then alarm went off. unlocked ok but did the same annoying locking thingy about 10x. how come?

damatrix, check how many times the led flashes when you disarm, this will indicate which sensor is dodgy

axgt, check your bonnet pin switch, prob that (or boot sensor if uve got an ax gt, the boot swich is a mercury one, and it cud also be that)
