Does anyone know what the RAC Trackstar unit looks like as i was working on my motor yesterday and i found a unit with a wire coming out of it with no markings on it.

I think that if any car thief that wants to get a car and is able to get past security (cars having a tracker are likely to have more) and doesnt know what the devices look like are frankly not capable of getting the car.....

It does bother me when people wont give info on security devices as the general public wont know if its a good install or not of the device (and lets be fair alot of installs are a waste of space).

The only way installs will get better are when the car owners investigate what they have and then when/if they find the install to be very and poor to report it to the relivant bodies, thus making the installers do a good job, and lets be fair the security device is only as good as the install....
