The two main form of Trackers that Tracker Network uk provide that may be in your interest are the Tracker Retrieve and the Tracker Monitor. The Tracker Retrieve is a tracking device that once installed on your vehicle is only activated once you inform Tracker and the police that your vehicle has been stolen.

The Tracker Monitor is a tracking device that is popular with Subaru owners as your vehicle is also fitted with a movement sensor. Therefore if there is any unauthorised movement of the vehicle Tracker will contact you to inform you of the movement & if you confirm the theft then the Tracking device is activated immediately.

We at MotorGuard do the Tracker Retrieve for £250 fitted (SRP £299) and do the Tracker Monitor for £350 fitted (SRP £449) for Scooby net users. Call us on 0121 359 1617 if you have any further enquiries.

Navtrak ADR Proactive is very good and well managed but VERY expensive (about a grand to install and £250 a year to monitor). Dantrak have a good reputation and you can add loads of modules to their system unlike most of the other companies (i.e satnav, mobile office etc.) so I'd be tempted to give them a bell in your shoes.

Any tracker monitoring system like the one mentioned above by Motorguard is worth the extra investment in my opinion - it just gives you piece of mind that your car is safe whilst you're in the pub/bed/kebab shop/whatever....

Tracker Monitor however is usually the minimum insurance companies will accept. The Retrieve isn't on most companies list of options when you try to get an online quote.
