Default Blackjax - how does it work?

I've skim read the official website . . . .

What actually triggers it to be set off? It claims to be fully automatic. Is it just triggered by the door lights while the engin is running?

Anyone?

Ask an installer, not here please. It's not just the door lights, as that would be annoying, but it's incredibly simple.

If you really can't find out, PM me.

it works by cutting the engine out down the road if you havent entered your valet code into the switch fitted in the dash. it then safely cuts out the engine and means even with the keys they cannoy start it without that code. (you should know it) then they will have no choice but to run, or wait and the you could give them a kicking

alarm also goes off with brake lights blaring well mine does when i forget to type code in lol!

Is this a stand alone thing or do you have to have the whole clifford alarm then this extra?

Blackjax can be a standalone system and will work with any alarm. Some Clifford models have Blackjax built into the system. Expaect to pay ~£170 fitted.
