Whats this all about
Ive had my Scooby for about 6 weeks now but wasnt passed the code for the Sigma alarm keypad when i collected. Previous keeper wasnt able to provide so I thought i would phone a localish dealer today to enquire what they would charge to reset or tell me the code.
So i make the phonecall and speak to the servicing woman. Explain my problem and she asks for my Reg no. saying she would phone me back. Whilst waiting for her to call back i realise that ive not recieved the v5 yet.
So.....im just hoping that if i turn up at the dealers in the car with the keys, mot, insurance and new dealer suppliment they might just sort this for me.
5 Mins later the phone rings and its the dealer. She proceeds to tell me the codes for both my alarm and immobilzer over the phone without any checks to see of i own the car.
Is it just me or does this defeat the purpose of having such security in the first place.
Anyway.......rant over. How exactly do i use the codes now that i have them?

1. Open the door with the key and set the alarm off.
2. Get in and use the keypad to enter your code switching the alarm off.
3. Reset it whilst in the car, then switch off again (by entering the code twice).
4. Put key in ignition - drive away
Sorry for the simplification - I've had a few
