Question

The alarms do come with the installation certificate so you can either pay someone to fit it or if you are any good yourself then you could fit it.
Let me know if anyone is interested as i have sold 14 so far but don't worry have plenty for every one!!!!

I thought Cat 1 alarms had to be professionally installed to ensure cat 1 rating.

My last two insurance companies asked for the installation certificate.

Question

I think it's ok to pay them elsewhere, as long as the alarm meets Catagory 1 requirements and is on the list. The alarm would then have to be fitted by a professional installer, who will give you the installation certificate.
