Default Concept 50 Immobiliser

Friend of mine is currently having problems: After leaving the car for a couple of months, he returned to a flat battery. This was removed and charged, and the car is now (seemingly) fine, but will not de-immobilise.
He is really tearing his hair out, as he obviously can't go anywhere at the moment. Anyone got any ideas how to easily bypass the immobiliser, or how to re-enable it so that it works properly with his remote?

At the moment it looks like a wire-cutters job

I have one of these on my car at the moment, It shouldn't forget the fobs but you will need to put it into valet mode and recode the fobs. You will need to put it into valet mode.
