Default TRACKER

Anyone have a contact who can get a discount, or has there been a group buy.

Thanks in advance

Default Trackstar

I could be tempted to offer a group buy on the new RAC Trackstar Plus units if there is enough interest. These now incorporate GPS speed camera detector as standard (subject to subscription) and can be transferred from car to car and have European coverage if required. In my considered opinion by far the best available for both quality and VFM. Visit www.ractrackstar.com for more info on this exciting product.

Car Electronics have an offer on at the momment of £235 fitted, for the basic Tracker. Subscription charges are then £109inc VAT for 1 yr or £340 I think for the lifetime option.

They have branches in Nottingham, Derby and Leceister.

I've considered all the other options and I'm convinced that the Tracker system is not only the cheapest but also has an excellent recovery rate and they have been at it the longest.

I will be discussing the installation when mine goes in as I'm prepared to pay the extra if necessary to have it as inacessible to the car thieves as is humanly possible to install. [strapped to no.1 piston ]

you might find that you cant discussing the installation Alan.

Tracker locations are given a code that's on the paper work you get and the paper work that go's back to Tracker.
They wont be happy to let you know where it is and what the code is for its location.

I take your point, what I actually meant was that for each car model there must be several locations for putting these devices. Some would be easier to fit in terms of stripping the car down, than others. I merely want the technician to choose the location that affords him the greatest time and effort to get it there and if that means spending longer than the one hour I've been quoted, then I'm happy to pay for the extra time.

I understand your point and I don't expect to know exactly where it is to be located.

they can put the unit anywhere in the car there is no set locations as long as it is well hidden and out of sight. you can also ask where it is but you will only be told it's in the back or the front.
