Sti8 auto door locking facility?
i'll try again?
I have recently purchased a new Sti and when I took the demo out for a run it had some sort of auto door looking feature enabled, that when you drove off the doors auto lock (I think that’s how it worked).
Can any one provide me with the programming manual for a new sti8 UK (I believe it’s still a Sigma)?
I have a copy of the old Sigma for MY99 classic, which was useful – not sure if they are the same (the keypad looks the same)
Any help would be appreciated.
Also to be able to change the panic button times etc….
Cheers

MY04 STI Type UK (CAT1)
To enable 'safety-Lock', turn on ignition, give your key transmitter a quick press, type 4 on the security keypad and immediately turn off.
To disable 'safety-Lock', turn on ignition, give your key transmitter a quick press, type 5 on the security keypad and immediately turn off.
I had it turned on then decied to leave it off in case I accidently locked my keys in somehow? - The safty lock (single lock) will activate on vehicle ingnition and not on driving away, (if all doors/boot are closed).
Hope this helps.
