Question

Hi,
Just got a new WRX Wagon and Im interested to know if the alarm can be made to beep whenever it is armed/disarmed?

Not sure about the auto-arm "lock you in" mode! Can this be done without dealer (so I can undo when the wife gets locked in!!!).

Cheers

If its the same as the MY03 then it can be self programmed to beep.

Its buttons 6 & 7 (the manual says "for future use").

Button 7 is beep on

Button 6 is beep off

Button * adjusts loudness

Just follow the sequence in section 5 of the book on how to programme. If I can do it anyone can

Edited to add

Also the auto lock can be self programmed

Button 4 turns it on

Button 5 turns it off

Again refer to section 5 in the book

Thumbs up

ah great! thanks alot - works a treat! my manual also says 6 & 7 are reserved for future, in fact my manual has August 2003 on the back of it, so the alarm sounds the same.

thanks again, now i can annoy the neighbours with the loud beep beep!!!
