I had a Clifford 300 fitted to my MY03 WRX last Friday and it seemed OK. I have not used the car since Monday evening and tonight I heard it outside constantly making a bip bip bip bip noise. Disarming it stopped the noise but I would like to know if this is a fault or some kind of warning.

Cheers
Gary.

The manual says the unit goes into power save mode after 48 hours by flashing the LED less frequently but I doubt it it supposed to start beeping as well.

I started the car this morning and there was plenty of power in the battery.

THE CONCEPT 300 HAS A SPARE LOOM PLUG FOR ADDING DUAL ZONE SENSORS TO WHICH DOES GIVE A WARNING TONE SO UNLESS YOU HAVE HAD SENSOR FITTED WHICH IS SET TOO SENSITIVE ,CHECK TO SEE IF THE LOOM PLUG IS GETTING ANY MOISTURE ON IT IF THE ALARM IS MOUNTED UNDER A DAMP CARPET ETC ETC.

Not sure - but it sounds like a 'low battery' type of warning - but the question it WHY. Have you looked at www.clifford.com - might give u some clues/info

alan

p.s. click on the USA flag - the UK site is rubbish!!!!!!!!!!
