Know the feeling, MY00 with Sigma m30, spent 40 minutes in town centre carpark today, locked out. Phoned Subaru, who told me how to get the alarm disarmed.(I dont know the 4 digit pin either)The guy I spoke to also advised me that there is an upgrade for the alarm, which he said they did under warranty as it is a common fault.
Hope this helps.

Try sticking the fob under your chin as it focuses the waves (I kid you not).
Have a read ofThis for more info.

Had same problem at a motorbike dealer when went in my P1.Subaru assistance came out and pushed it 10 feet and it worked fine!!!Got control panel in glove box changed and got reset with a new code.I would have thought you should be able to find out original code from Subaru maybe.

Cheers
John.

There is a new shielded ECU which the Subaru dealers can order from Sigma and fit for you under warranty - this should cure the problem once and for all.
