Costco do them for £39.99 + VAT but you need to be a member to get in, see www.costco.co.uk

Yellow only in small which fit Scooby's.

Costco let the general public in at specific times.
True about only having yellow, but overcome this by buying yellow them nipping to your local H***ords telling them somebody bought it for you as a pressie and got the wrong colour - student staff will happily change it for a silver one

Edited to add - not my idea ! Somebody posted it on here a while back.

Cheers chaps.
Keep my ear down to the ground for a Costco 'open day' , theres a massive one at derby retail park on the A52, not far from me, tell the old man 'bout it.

Thanks

I got mine through the local police force (cleveland) for £25. This was only for cars at risk, in this case a 1.1 metro , but I think they were also offering discounts regardless of what car you have, might be worth a try.

Will have to give Nottingham police a try , seeing as we are supposed to have the highest crime rate in the country, maybe they will be doing this offer?

Well it was a scheme they were running to make vunerable cars harder to steel. The cars in question were those built before imobilisers were required by law, and so are stupidly easy to hotwire. Having said that the metro has had two attempted thefts, both times they managed to move it all of 10m. muppets.

Oh, and all the cleveland ones were yellow, which as they are supposed to be an obvious deterent is fine for me . You could always try the halfords swappng trick tho.

Thanks for all your help folks.

Yellow or Silver it dont bother me, nor me dad , all we want is a decent price, Notts police don't do this offer, and you have to be a resident of the area if the force do!!!!, bugger ain't it. I'll have a word with my boss , i think he's got a costco card.
