I am hoping someone here can help me as i think i may be getting lied to.
What i have - Clifford c60 with the blackjax. I also have a turbo timer. At the moment my keyfob will not lock the car while the engine is on and the car unlocks the doors when the engine turns off.

What i want - Keyfob to lock the car whether the engine is on or not and for the car not to automatically unlock when the engine is turned off. This will allow me to leave the car on timer and walk away safe in the knowledge it is locked and will stay that way.

The person i spoke to said it requires a rewire of the clifford c60 and an additional box to be added. Total cost all in is £45. Now i know this is not alot but i though it should be just plug in a laptop and change some settings. Do i need the extra box and rewire?

Thanks in advance

Hello mate no your not being lied to.
The c600 will not alow the alarm to be turned on with the ignition on , but you can fit a relay on the system which will act as a turbo timer and allow the alarm to be activated with the engine running
Hope this helps

How does that work exactly?

Do you stop the car and press a button on the remote which opens the doors but keeps the engine running when you remove the key?

Then you get out of the car (engine still running), press a button and it locks the doors and arms the alarm.

2 mins later the "turbo timer" stops the engine?

Wink

Simple fact
Press button for turbo timer, get out of car (after fitting disklok ) press lock button, engine still runs but all doors are locked and car doesnt unlock again (2 mins later turbo timer turns car off )

Basically the turbo timer needs to be wired into the ignition circuit after the alarm so it can provide the required 12V to the ignition relay etc but the alarm still sees that the key has been switched off and will allow the remote to arm the system.
