Is there any difference in operation for the G4 proximity sensors between the single zone and dual zone models (apart from the obvious!)?
I need to get a new proximity sensor for my C600 which originally came with the dual-zone but since I have no interest in using the external zone would it be compatible with the cheaper single-zone sensor such as the Concept 300 one?
I grudge the idea of paying the going rate for a dual-zone because they were available for around $30 brand new from an authorised DEI dealer in the US, but have since been discontinued for some reason. The dual-zone omni-sensor is still available though for a measly $25 compared to UK price of £70 or so!
Cheers.

No-one know?
Alternatively if anyone's upgraded their Concept 300 to dual-zone and wants to sell me the single zone sensor I'll try it out myself

Cheers mate... I've finally sourced a single-zone though and I've been informed it works fine on the C600.
Cost a grand total of £15 and I picked up a few other bits off the guy at the same time (Omnisensor, replacement antenna etc)
Beats paying the Clifford UK RRPs!

The guy doesn't have any dual-zones at the moment, else I'd have got one to save taking a chance on a single-zone, although it's possible he'll get some in.
I have an e-mail contact for him, don't fancy posting it on here cos it ain't mine to advertise but if you want to give it a shot let me know and I'll e-mail you the address.
I think he quoted £30 + post for the dual-zone sensor when he had them available.
