I just fitted a garage door defender today
Lets hope it deters a few scumbags
The product looks ok, but i did not think it was a good idea
just to bolt it too the floor, so i added some metal strips
to the base of the fixing bolts and concreted them in
Just one more hurdle for potential thieves

The product consists of a base plate that bolts to the floor
underneath the garage door. Part of this base plate protubes
outside the door with a raised bracket on it.When you close the
door from the outside , you bolt on at T section to this bracket
and this prevents the up and over garage door from being opened.
The product is SOLD SECURED recomended.
I bought it over the net from www.selectlocks.co.uk for £74.
It seems pretty sturdy and is a good visual deterant.
