Is it possible to add some sort of turbo timer to a Clifford system which utilised one of the timed outputs? Is it just a case of wiring up a relay so that before I get out of the car I can press a button, remove the key and it will keep running or is it much more complicated than that?

There is a turbo timer unit available for the G4 series from your local clifford dealer (its an accessory ), you will have to take into consideration that the use of this with your alarm invalidates the cat1 status of your alarm/immobiliser as it hasnt been tested by thatcham.
