Clifford CC300 problem
#1
I had a CC300 fitted about 6 months ago and I've just noticed that when the alarm is triggered it flashes the indicators, but there's no noise from the siren!
I still have the chirps when I arm/disarm though.
Any ideas?

BTW, get this sorted sooner rather than later.
My insurance has the following wording which is now quite common. This is word for word from the schedule:
Thatcham Alarm / Immobiliser Warranty:
We will only provide theft cover under your policy if you ensure that the Alarm/Immobiliser is kept in effective working order. If this security device fails you must have it repaired or contact us as soon as possible so that we may revise the terms of your cover. If you do not do so you will lose the cover for theft.

I've phoned GAP (who fitted it) but they're gonna call me back when they know what the problem is. I'll try to get them to fit a new one next week.
As for insurance, my policy doesn't even require me to have an alarm at all, I only got it for my own piece of mind.

Just a quick note at this point to say that any libellous posts must be deleted. Sorry folks, that's the way it is to keep scoobynet out of the sticky stuff, legally speaking.
This does not mean that you can't post specific problems that you have with a company, but sweeping statements such as "xxx is a bunch of yyy" must go.
Cheers,
Nick

They're coming out on Friday to fit a new brain to my alarm. Does anyone know how much extra it'd cost to upgrade my single zone proximity sensor to dual zone while he's fitting the new brain?
